Chad Reed
2013 wasn't the epic Monster Energy Supercross season Chad Reed had hoped for, but despite his knee still not operating at full strength and his fitness not up to his own standards, Chad was still able finished in 5th for the year. Now Chad's focus turns to outdoor motocross and his first event at the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Finally feeling healthy and strong, Chad is putting in extra work and training to compete at the highest level.

Chad visits a few Discount Tire shops fulfilling sponsor obligations before heading to the track and preparing for the race. Chad finishes with a 4th place in Phoenix followed by a 3rd at Anaheim 2. Chad Reed returns from injury. Two-time Supercross Champion Chad Reed was ranked #2 in the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross series when disaster struck heading into Round 7 at Dallas. Reed and Villopoto were battling for first in the final lap of the main event when Chad went over the bars on a triple set breaking two ribs, his T6, tearing an ACL, fracturing his tib/fib, and ending his Supercross season. Just under 6 months later, Chad Reed is back on his bike and looking ahead to the 2013 Supercross season!
