Gymkhana

Listen, we all knew Gymkhana EIGHT was going to be a little nuts. Blasting around the streets of Dubai in a Ford Fiesta that can do 0-60 in 1.8 seconds isn't something sane people do, after all. But we weren't prepared for THIS. We don't want to spoil any of the surprises—though there are plenty—but we will say that Ken Block, Ford Performance, and XDubai pulled out every last stop for this one, stitching together arguably the best Gymkhana yet in the process. Check it out and make sure to stay tuned for Block's tantalizing Gymkhana 9 teaser at the end.

Have you seen that wild video of Blake Wilkey hooning around the streets of San Diego in a dune buggy? Well, unsurprisingly, it has attracted the attention of the San Diego Police Department, who are now looking into charging Wilkey with reckless driving and vandalism. Needless to say, if you're part-time wheelman with a couple of GoPros and a Youtube channel, it probably makes sense to do these things in controlled environments, where pedestrians aren't an issue and the police aren't around to see your name plastered on the side of your whip while you're doing something highly illegal. I don't know, just some food for thought.

The stop motion Christmas favorite "Snowkhana" is back for a fourth year, and boy is it an early Christmas present! This year we get not only the riveting toy hoonage, but we also get some real life hoonage from Santa behind the wheel of a new Ford Focus RS in the snow. Happy Holidays!

Only Ken Block would think of making a 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 RS with rear-wheel-drive his new Gymkhana car. And luckily for Ryan Tuerck, he gets to "test" it out.

On-hand for the upcoming Gymkhana Grid Finals in England, Tuerck gets to take Ken's first-ever rear-wheel-drive Gymkhana vehicle for a bit of a spin. Boasting all the bells and whistles of Ken's high-end, WRC Ford Fiesta, the Mk2 packs "a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder Millington motor that generates 333 naturally-aspirated horses and absolutely screams at the limit when stretched out to the 9,000 rpm redline. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox."

Stay tuned for more of Tuerck at the Gymkhana Grid soon.

Yesterday, Ken Block debuted his wild new Gymkhana 8 whip, which got us thinking: If we were to pit all seven of Block's Gymkhana rides against in each other in a battle of pure radness, which would emerge the victor? Thus commenced one of the least scientific (and most fun) examinations we have ever conducted. Check it out and see how your favorite stacks up.
