There's something to be said for a classic, and while we aren't quite sure whether a 1979 YZ250 fully qualifies, this footage of Aussie whip king Jarryd McNeil flogging one around Zaca Station in California is still plenty rad. If you're looking for a blast from the past—and also some perspective on just how far motocross has come—then check this one out.

Filmed over the span of three weeks on a 3,000-mile road trip through Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California, this stunning 4K time-lapse tour of the American Southwest certainly didn't come without a cost (snowstorms, flat tires, scorpion stings, and plenty of sleepless nights). The results, as you'll see, however, are more than worth it. If you didn't get to take a vacation this year, this is the next best thing.

This past weekend, a 50,000-acre wildfire broke out in Lake County, California and Youtube user, mulletFive, caught his entire daring—and truly horrifying—escape on video. According to mulletFive, who lives in the last house in his rural neighborhood, Anderson Springs, he had seen no smoke, ash, sirens, or air support and thus didn't realize how close (or severe) the fire was. As this video makes clear, however, it was all of the above and more.
