This weekend, in an abbreviated IndyCar showdown at Texas Motor Speedway, Conor Daly collided with Josef Newgarden, turning Newgarden's car onto its side before pushing him headfirst into the safety barrier in what looked like a potentially catastrophic wreck. Thankfully Newgarden's roll bar did what it's designed to do—save drivers' lives—punching a hole in the safety barrier (which IndyCar says requires about 50 Gs of force) and allowing the Ed Carpenter driver to walk away more or less unscathed. Well then check out this insane behind-the-scenes look at T1 Race Development's 2,348-horspower GT-R, which currently stands as the US record holder with a quarter mile run of 7.3 seconds at 195 mph. As if that's not enough eye-watering numbers for you, this mean, Texas-bred machine also topped out at 235 mph in the half-mile, so, uhh yeah, just press play and let the straight-line rampage commence.

Take a trip through the Houston, Texas stop of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season with the RCH Dodge Sycuan Racing Team! Part owner Ricky Carmichael and team riders Josh Hill and Broc Tickle start the week off with appearances and autograph signings while the RCH team gets the trailer and fan experiences ready for the weekend. Ricky offers a glimpse into his duties away from the team including helping to design the 2013 Monster Energy Cup track. Josh races well over the weekend finishing 8th overall and Broc finishes 10th. Although the guys would like to perform better, it's the first time both riders have finished in the top 10 together.
