Pro Surfers Alana Blanchard and Camille Brady attend a surf day presented by the Mauli Ola Foundation, an organization dedicated to introducing kids with cystic fibrosis (a genetic lung disease) to surfing as a natural therapy. Later, they stop by a local fruit stand and then hit the water for some fun surf at Pupakea.

Alana Blanchard and Bethany Hamilton grew up together on the Hawaiian island of Kauai and have been good friends since the age of 5. Though they have very different schedules, they remain close and value the opportunities they get to spend with each other. That is why they had so much fun coming together to host their Keiki Classic surf contest for kids on Kauai. Growing up, Alana and Bethany would surf in the annual Irons Brothers Pine Trees Classic and wanted to figure out their own way to give back to aspiring surfers on the island. So they partnered with Rip Curl to develop the Keiki Classic, and judging from the smiles on the young surfers faces, the event was a huge success.

An epic summer bikini tour sounds like the best thing ever. And that's exactly what surfer Alana Blanchard embarks on on the latest episode of Surfer Girl. Alana travels with fellow surfers Nikki Van Dijk, Bethany Hamilton, and Tyler Wright to Australia for a schedule packed with fun events. In addition to a photo shoot with Women's Fitness magazine, Alana and her friends also went to a school to speak to a packed house about the importance of maintaining a positive body image. The surfers explained to the students that it's okay to be yourself and that you don't need to worry about other people's opinions. We're sure this is one assembly these students will remember for a long time. The next stop on the epic bikini tour is the surfy Australian beach town of Torquay.

One week of an epic Australian bikini tour with Rip Curl is just not long enough. On the new episode of Surfer Girl, Alana Blanchard continues her stay Down Under with fellow surfers Bethany Hamilton, Tyler Wright, and Nikki Van Dijk. The cold water at the world famous Bells Beach is a bit of a shock, but the ladies still manage to score some good waves (and Bethany didn't cry!). After warming up, the girls sign autographs and take pictures with fans, some of whom had been waiting four hours to meet their heroes. Then it's off to Rip Curl headquarters to model new looks for the company's catalog before heading back to the beach to lead a yoga session. What a life!

We knew Bethany Hamilton was an incredible surfer, but we didn't know she was this good. The guys at Beach Grit have "lifted" this incredible clip of the Soul Surfer herself doing a very serious air. We're guessing that it was filmed by Aaron Lieber, who receives the photo credit in the Beach Grit post.

But let's get down to what really matters here: this is a damn serious air for any surfer, let alone a surfer with only one arm. Yes, we were already very much aware of Bethany's insane surfing abilities. But airs? Really? The psychics of that are unfathomable, let alone how damn good she makes it look. If this is from a movie we hope that movie comes our soon. Really soon.

Bethany Hamilton's story is one of the most inspiring ones in surfing. At 13, Hamilton lost her left arm during a shark attack while she was surfing in Kauai. She refused to let that end her dream of becoming a pro surfer and continues to surf around the world. There have been movies made about Hamilton's courageous tale, but no one has really discussed how exactly she has been able to surf so well with only one arm.

Hamilton explains that she is a good paddler because she participated on swim teams as a kid. She maintained that strength even after her accident, and, no, she doesn't paddle in circles. Hamilton also breaks down her tricks for duck diving, her penchant for late drops, and the custom handles on her boards. It's impossible to watch this video and not have even more respect for Hamilton.

Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton and the rest of the Rip Curl women's surf team recently traveled Namotu Island in Fiji to surf and try out Rip Curl's 2013 line of spring and summer bikinis.

Alana Blanchard and Bethany Hamilton grew up together on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. As kids aspiring to become pro surfers they surfed in the Andy and Bruce Irons Pinetrees Classic in Hanalei Bay each year. It was the event to surf in as a kid living on Kauai. Now many years later, and with blossoming surf careers of their own, Blanchard and Hamilton have started their own Keiki Classic surf contest at Pinetrees. The first one went down on October 21 and was a fun day for all the kids to surf, meet their heroes, and win some free gear.
