World Record

Don't. Look. Down. Just hold on tight and watch as Nathan Paulin & Danny Menšík set the mark for the world's longest slackline walk with a 1km tip toe in the hills of Aiglun, France. If you're afraid of heights, you may want to opt out of this one altogether.

Meet Harry Denton, a normal 16-year-old from new Zealand with one insane skill: Bike manuals. Think you have it takes to hang with Harry? Just check out this footage of him setting the Guinness Book of World Records mark with a manual of over 1,111 feet and think again.

The future is now, people. Watch as Franky Zapata crushes the hoverboard flight world record in style, gliding quay to quay along the French coastline like some benign version of the Green Goblin. We'd say don't try this at home, but you probably can't anyway.

When we're talking about a 265-mph convertible, it almost goes without saying that the mad scientists at Hennessey Performance are behind it. Strap that toupee on tight and check out the record-setting speed run from their new Venom GT Spyder above

What do you get when you combine Japanese drifting champion Masato Kawabata, a 1,380-hp Nismo-tuned MY16 Nissan GT-R, and an empty airstrip in the middle of the UAE? The Guinness World Record for the fastest drift ever recorded, that's what. Seriously, just imagine initiating at 189 mph and try not to wet your Sparco.

Looking for something crazy to start your Friday morning? Then check out Davis Dudelis's world record-breaking BMX nose wheelie, an 862-foot display of pure core strength and perfect balance. Props, Davis. That was gnarly.

Want to see something insane? Well, Jaguar and stunt driver, Greg Tracy, have just the ticket: A 62-and-a-half-foot, Guinness World Record-shattering loop...in an SUV. Breaking the previous mark set by Mattel's Hot Wheels loop a few years back, this 6.5G stunt served as an elaborate launch for Jaguar's new F-PACE performance UTE, but backdoor marketing campaign aside, this is just about as gnarly as you can get on four wheels.

Cliff jumping is no joke. There are no safety nets. No bail outs. No cheats. Just ask Laso Schaller, who just broke the cliff-jump world record with this absolutely insane leap. As you'll see, while 193-foot height (taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa) is certainly daunting, it's the postage stamp landing pool that offers up the highest sketch factor. Steady your stomach and get ready to take the plunge.

14 inches. That's how low Nick Hyne went while throwing down some wild euro-carve limbo at The Remarkables last month, setting an unofficial world record in the process. Check it out and then starting working on your euros for the upcoming season.

Earlier this month, Spencer Seabrooke set out to break the world record for the longest free solo slackline ever (i.e. slacklining without harnesses of any kind). After a couple of super sketchy wobbles, Seabrooke strolled into the record books (and the all-time pantheon of the functionally insane) and has the footage to prove it. Needless to say, this pushes the boundaries risk vs. reward to their absolute breaking point.
