Race cars are not meant for big people. Guys like Jeff Gordon and Tanner Foust come in well under six feet. So getting 6'4" 250-pound NFL defensive end DeMarcus Ware into an off road buggy was a bit of a challenge. Ware raced with the Zero One Odyssey team in this year's Mint 400 off road race through the Nevada desert. Ware and co-driver Sal Masakela, the action sports host, raced a Subaru EJ2 buggy in the Limited Class and finished in third place. Ware and Masakela joined a long list of celebrities who have competed in the Mint 400, including James Garner, Steve McQueen, and Paul Newman. But we wonder how Ware's new NFL team, the Denver Broncos, felt about his little adventure.
